Les Linet MD is a physician, board certified both in adult and in child and adolescent psychiatry with more than 40 years of experience in helping adults, children, and families. Dr. Linet has extensive experience in treating a wide variety of psychiatric problems, most commonly – but not limited to – anxiety, mood disorders and ADHD.

Dr. Linet has extensive experience in divorce and marital problems with special expertise in abuse in its various forms. More people are familiar with physical abuse than they are with psychological abuse. The terms, nonphysical abuse, relationship abuse, verbal abuse, emotional abuse, and psychological abuse, are essentially synonymous. Victims of nonphysical abuse are mistreated and controlled by others. Nonphysical abuse is a form of psychological warfare. It is often insidious and is a form of brainwashing. It is emotional and psychological torture without physical bruises. A related area of interest for Dr. Linet is what has been called parental alienation, in which (1) a child is estranged (physically or psychologically) from one parent (2) that estrangement is unwarranted and (3) the estrangement is induced by a third party, usually by the other parent.

My goal as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is to incorporate both psychiatric nursing and primary care. As a result, this effort can improve your life physically and mentally. I teach you the management of your chronic disease. It includes medications and non-pharmaceutical approaches such as motivational interviewing, where to go when in crisis, and how to utilize resources to help with the cost.

Office Manager

Irena Medina is the Office Manager of Community Resource Center. She graduated from Far Eastern University in the Philippines with a Bachelor’s degree In Mathematics Major In Computer Science. She first worked as a banker before coming here In the United States. Her first job was at a Residential Health Care Facility and worked there for 15 years dealing with mental and behavioral issues. Her dedication and experience in the facility earned her the trust and respect of the residents. Working In the environment required a systematic and methodical approach to guide the path towards the Improvement of the quality of life of the residents. In view thereof, as the Office Manager, the cooperation and Input of all team members pave the way to a harmonious work relationship and each team member Is highly appreciated.
